Guest DT Roundup: December 2010

Welcome to December's Guest Design Team roundup!! It was another busy month for everyone... especially with the holidays, but check out all these beautiful projects these talented ladies managed to fit in!!

Up first, Cindy made these two fantastic layouts:

From Flamingo Scraps: American Crafts Thickers; Suede Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
Other Supplies:   patterned paper (Scenic Route, Paper Loft); cardstock (Bazzill); punches (Fiskars for border and Marvy Uchida  for circle); inks (Colorbox, StazOn); pens (Prismacolor, American Crafts); Stamp (Stampin' Up!)

From Flamingo Scraps: Graphic 45 patterned paper; American Crafts Thickers; Suede Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
Other Supplies: cardstock (Paper Company); ink (Colorbox); pens (Prismacolor)

Cindy says this about the 2010 layout:  This is based on a sketch from CK, Jan/Feb 09. I only had a single sheet of the Graphic 45 pp, so I had to cut carefully! The snowflake, which is by Zva Creative, was originally a metallic light blue. I used a tan Prismacolor art marker to color it and love the gold color that emerged.  The letters are American Crafts that I inked, then sprayed with suede Glimmer Mist (same technique done on the Bear Valley layout).

More of Cindy's work can be seen here in her gallery!

In December, Jolaine made these four gorgeous layouts:

From Flamingo Scraps: Websters Pages WonderFall (patterned papers)

From Flamingo Scraps: Websters Pages WonderFall (patterned papers), Websters Bloomers and Trims

From Flamingo Scraps:  Webster's Pages Sweet Seasons (patterned papers)

From Flamingo Scraps: Prima Fairy Flora (patterned papers, Prima flowers & bling

More of Jolaine's work can be seen here on her blog!

Tonya made a beautiful tag and layout this month, check it out:

Tonya says.... This tag was inspired by the Tim Holtz 12 Days of Christmas. The Bird is cut from the Tim Holtz birdcage die cut on recycled EK Success packaging, and the tag's background is a piece of Prima packaging with a music note stamp from Stampendous. The flowers are the Prima Cameo Roses that I openned up and flattened, then glimmered them with a soft pink. The sprigs for the tree branches were Christmas floral sprays.

Tonya says.... The background paper is from the Anna Leigh Collection from Prima. I was inspired to make this layout by the cover of the January issue of Creative Keepsakes Magazine. All the flowers are prima, and the laces are a collection of Prima and Fancy Pants.

More of Tonya's work can be seen here on her website or here on her youtube channel!!

We hope you've enjoyed December's roundup and go leave all our fabulous guest design team ladies some love!!
