Ramona here sharing with you a Marion Smith Mad Tea Party Jewelry Hanger using Jenni Bowlin Hotel Key Holder. I had so much fun making this hanger with all the extra's from the paper line. The 12X12 has sold out from Flamingo Scraps. But, you can ask Suzanne if she could order some for you. I have added a tutorial at the bottom to show you how I transformed this Key Holder.
Here is the full project view
Here I fussy cut the 10/6 out and added feathers,Glossy Accents and a Webster’s Pages Heart Cameo Push Pins
Here I fussy cut and added Glossy Accents, added some chain from my stash, Maya Road Trinket Pins Pearl Flower
I used Tim Holtz Distress Glitter on this heart. I so love the way it looks.
I also added various tags to the bottom that I can change when I want to.
For this I have gone step by step showing you how I altered this project using the Jenni Bowlin Hotel Key Holder
Here is how I split up the Ruffled Bloomers
Webster’s Pages Ruffled Bloomers — Teal

Chic Coffin - Happy Halloween!!
I love Halloween for the fun you can have with the dark and macabre, shakes things up a bit. So with that in mind......
Happy Halloween everyone!!
I
made a little present coffin box and dressed it up with a little shabby
chic-ness, why not dress up dark and sinister ;). The coffin opens up
and cackles at you, so I thought why not decorate it (it was just plain
wood).
I
sprayed the entire box with 3 colors of Heidi Swapp Color Shine
(Georgia peach, Black Velvet, and Chartreuse). I layered the misting
(letting some dry before adding on another layer of spray), plus I also
added in some layers of Claudine Hellmuth Studio paint (in similar
colors of green, orange, and black). I then let it all dry before
adding on the Halloween Washi tape - Beware of what might lurk inside!!
Here
you can see I used a stencil (you can special order items like the
stencils, paint, etc from Flamingo Scraps) to added a layer of Claudine Hellmuth gesso mixed with slow drying medium to create texture. After it all dried hard I sprayed with the color shine colors again. I
then added in my Prima flower cluster (some also sprayed with color shine to match - the black and green flowers are sprayed ones), and my cute little black spiders from my stash.
You can find most of these supplies over at Flamingo Scraps!!
Now to just enjoy the goodies inside - all while the little coffin cackles at you for eating your sweets!!
Supplies
Wood Coffin
Flowers - Prima
Mist - Heidi Swapp
Mediums and Paint - Claudine Hellmuth
Spiders
Washi Tape
Stencil - Studio Calico
Enjoy!!

Up and Away Easel Card with Nirvana from Marion Smith Designs
This project I decided to use Nirvana from Marion Smith Designs and make a cute Easel Card that I had seen on YouTube. I have seen these before and thought they were so cute so I am adding the link to mybutterflykisses12 tutorial here. This was so fun to create with this line!! I only used 3 sheets of paper and have plenty left. I have thought with this I could make a 4X4 mini album to stick in the drawer that pulls out. I had taken Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 102 and used some of his techniques on this.
Here is the whole view of my creation.
I also decided that I wanted to make it a bit steam punk so I took black thread and sewed the strings on the hot air balloons.
Here is a view from the top.
Here the drawer open. I have thought with this I could make a 4X4 mini album to stick in the drawer that pulls out.
I also used Nirvana Typography Stamp Set by Marion Smith Designs on this sign.
Here is a list of products used:
Prima Chalk Ink Edgers — Set of 40 Original Colors!!!- I used Knotted Wood and Teal Damask
Prima Tiny Junkyard Findings Vintage Trinkets — Sampler
Seam Binding – Cream
Grid Acrylic Stamp Blocks — Tim Holtz Collection
Prima Classic Orange Roses
Studio Calico Wood Veneer Banners
Prima Classic Daisies Cream
Tim Holtz Distress Paints- Peeled Paint, Broken China and Salty Ocean on the handle of the door
Lindy's Stamp Gang Tiffany Lou Blue and Cream Brulee Cream
If you see something in that I have used on this and it is not in the store...be sure to drop Suzanne a note and ask her if she can get it for you.
Make sure you stop by Flamingo Scraps for all your crafting needs. And do not forget that the store has Warehouse Boxes for sale. Packed full of goodies!!

Fall cards with Basic Grey Persimmon
Good morning, Flock! Genie here, and today I have a trio of fall-themed cards using the new Basic Grey Persimmon.
For the first, I used a sheet from the Basic Grey Persimmon 6x6 Paper Pad. I chalked the edges and added a sticker. I used a piece from the Basic Grey Persimmon Die Cuts and Transparencies pack for my sentiment, and finished it off with a couple of houses from my Prima Wood Icons Sampler and Jenni Bowlin Vintage Feather Tags.
My next card uses several scraps from the 6x6 Paper Pad, some old bling and letters from my stash, another piece from the Die Cuts & Transparencies pack, and a heart from Fancy Pants Cork Shapes, Hearts and Stars (there are also arrows!).
Finally, I made a cute thank you card, using another sheet of the Persimmon 6x6 paper and some Tim Holtz Distress Ink. I chalked the edges of the wooden Studio Calico Wood Veneers -- Triangles and added a Maya Road flower from my stash.
Thanks for looking, and I'll see you soon!

Perfectly pouty and oh, so sweet!
I am quite the penny pincher and frugal scrapper. I love making my own backgrounds with solid-colored cardstocks, mists, texture mediums, and masks. I love, love, love it. It's my favorite part of the entire creation process. If you see me using actual patterned paper as a background, it's a special occasion, indeed, because the backgrounds I can make are usually far more interesting than the ones I can buy. That said, I do have an overabundance of patterned paper, and it can be altered to meet your needs, as well. I have don't many projects turning a piece of patterned paper into a work of art, as well, but there's nothing quite as fulfilling as taking a blank canvas and making it all my own.
I was going through the contents of the Flamingo Scraps Warehouse Box, and let me tell you. As a frugal scrapper, I was so impressed with not only the quantity of items in it, but also the fact that they are all things that give you your money's worth! You can get one with only the fabulous patterned papers the store has stocked. You can get one with all kinds of fun embellishments, as well. Or, if you want some of each, there's an option for that, as well!
Most of my page, below, uses lots of stuff you could possibly receive in a warehouse box, and I received so much, I piled on the clusters to celebrate! It's not something I often do, but I really love it when I'm inspired to do it. Take a look!
This set of photos from my dear friend, Genie, of her daughter Ellie, were something I was dying to scrap since she gave them to me. As a mother of two boys, finding something girlie is always a challenge, but Genie will always come through with something for me! Isn't that pout just too cute?
I used lots of different Prima studs on this page, which you might receive in either the combo warehouse box or the embellishments warehouse box. I also used some Studio Calico veneer cameras and Pink Paislee artisan stars that I colored black with Prima Chalk ink. I also used Black Velvet Color Shine to stamp the journaling box! I'd never tried it before, but it works well if you practice a few times to know the right amount of dab to do it.
I took some gel medium and masked the Prima 12x12 Turkish stencil and then rubbed it with chalk ink to make it stand out a little more. The matte gel dries clear, so it would also be a good way to add a subtle texture to the page without any additional color.
I layered up on the trim and borders, just because there were so many in the warehouse box that I couldn't decide which to use first! I have a Prima studs border, a Heidi Swapp fringe trim, and a little banner I made out of some washi tape and baker's twine from my own stash. The alpha is slightly tucked into the Heidi Swapp photo book for interest.
The Heidi Swapp Serendipity Fotostack Book Heart was just perfect to place the extra photos on the page without making the page too busy! I love how her cute little face can peek out of the front!
On the inside, I did minimal embellishing, just because I wanted the album to be able to lay flat. I used some Studio Calico Polaroid-style frames, something you might also find in the warehouse box, just to give the photo its own little spotlight.
For one final encore, I used a Triumph Stix from Heidi Swapp to complete a page fit for a princess! The crown really was the perfect touch when tucked into the last page of the photo book.
Supplies used on this page:
Prima 12x12 Chevron and 12x12 Turkish masks (available via special order).
Prima Chalk Ink in Farmer Jeans, Turquoise Stone, and Black Coal.
Liquitex Medium Matte Gel (available via special order).
Other: Washi tape, bakers twine, alphabets, cardstock.

Kids' Summer Fun Mini Album & Sneak Peek At My Warehouse Grab Box!
I was SO excited when I peered into my Flamingo Scraps Warehouse Sale Box , that I actually squealed with joy. Never had I gotten so many yummy scrappy goodies for such a great price! This is just some of what I received. There is a box for everyone! You have a choice of boxes containing only embellies, or paper, OR a combination of both. How could you possibly go wrong? Products from great companies such as Maya Road, Tim Holtz, Heidi Swapp, Prima, Pink Paislee, Studio Calico, Teresa Collins and many more, make up these awesome boxes Follow this feathery link to the embellishments box: http://flamingoscraps.com/product/flamingo-scraps-warehouse-sale-box-embellishment-box/
I didn't know what I should create first until my grandson told me that he needed some of that "stuff " I got in the big box because he wanted to make his own vacation scrapbook. I always said Gabriel was a genius. (He obviously takes after me.) I combined goodies from my grab box with some of the latest items from CHA to help Gabe make his little album. I got a wonderful pack of TH grunge sheets and luckily for Gabe I have a HUGE stash of TH so I allowed him to use the "leather paper" he calls it for his album.
Have a great weekend !

For the cover we used the Ranger Claudine Hellmuth Sticky Back Canvas, a new CHA item that can be found in the store and comes in 12 x 12 sheets. I am totally in love with this product! To hold it all together, I used the Tim Holtz ruler binder. You could also use rings in place of this. The title and year are Maya Road chipboard from "The Box." Letters and numbers are from my stash.
|
Heidi Swapp journal tag envelope let's us journal "FUN" things about our camping trips while our grunge page is painted camo (G said he needed more macho here) , using Tim Holtz paints. I like the Pink Paislee Destinations paper with the schematics for the pages of building models.

Nothing says summer like being in or on the water, especially here in the state of Florida. The word "Swim" was made using the new Cosmo Cricket Glitter Sheets from the Crystal Lake collection. You get all the shimmery goodness of glitter without finding it on everything six months later. The Prima scalloped paper worked well for the waves. New to Flamingo Scraps from CHA are really cute cork hearts with sticky backs from Fancy Pants. These also come in arrows and various shapes.
Well, that's all for now. Of course we'll be adding more to the album with the goodies from "THE BOX". But, as those of you with young children in your lives know, for the most part they have "gnat" span for attention spans so we'll put this aside until next weekend. Below is a list of all the links for the GREAT items used in this project as well as links for each Flamingo Scraps Warehouse Box. BE sure to get your Grab Boxes while you can. They make great gifts for those scrappers in your life, and grab one for yourself while you're at it!

Beach Canvas using all sorts of Embelishments
For this Design Team project I made another mixed media canvas. I just kept layering more and more embellishments and kept placing the picture where I wanted it to go. I had a view master cut from the Cameo that I had previously cut out and decided to use it to show all the pictures of my nephew and great nephew at the beach. I loved seeing this little guy enjoying the waves and sand. On this canvas I used several of the embellishments from Flamingo Scaps store. Where you can find all your scapbooking and mixed media needs. Be sure to check out all the new CHA stuff that is coming in right now. AMAZING stuff!!
Here is the canvas that I ended up creating.
This part of the layout I used the stars from Studio Calico found in this Studio Calico Wood Veneers — Sampler 2, Prima Tiny Junkyard Findings Vintage Trinkets — Nuts & Bolts and a Maya Road Chipboard Say Cheese Mini Set.
Layering Maya Road Wood — Measure Once, Cut Twice Pieces, Prima Tiny Junkyard Findings Vintage Trinkets — Turns & Handles , Prima Sunrise Sunset Vintage Trinkets — Washers
Using the Maya Road Wood — You’ve Been Framed Pieces I placed a picture of the guys in the frame. The photo that I printed out was a 2X2 cut down.
I then layered more of the mechanical around the picture area to create another cluster. I used the Prima Sunrise Sunset Vintage Trinkets — Clock Works Pieces
Here I am showing how I put little photos in each one of the window's and used an Hidi Swap Mist packaging to put on the front of the photos. I used a 1 X 1 photo for this view finder. I also used a Prima Shaped Metal Paper Clips Sampler
This title I cut it out on the Cameo. I then used sand on it and colored it up using some Heidi Swapp Color Shine.
Other products used
Studio Calico Wood Veneers — Sampler 1
Prima Wood Icons in a Box – Typewriters & Clocks
Studio Calico Wood Veneer Cameras
Studio Calico Wood Veneer Tabs

A Peek into my "Beautiful Life"
Hello All!
Alicia here again with another week of Project Life, this time I used the "Beautiful Life" collection from Echo Park. This is such a great collection of papers that work so well for so many occasions and I love that it comes with three different alphas!
Here is a look at the two-pages together:
Here is the left side. Moving I used one of the Heidi Swapp labels to tell where the boys were in the top picture. The title card, except for the "Polaroid" around the week number, is completely made from bits that come in the "Beautiful Life" collection. The polaroid was stamped from the Maya Road "Photo Frame Singleton" stamp set. The first card in the middle road is made from the "B" side of one of the 3x4 card sheet in the collection and one of the Heidi Swapp Tags. I attached the tag to the card with a piece of yellow seam binding to create a great place for some hidden journaling. Cutting the picture of the strawberries in half allows me to use the smaller pockets to hold another 4x6 picture. The alpha on both the strawberry picture and the boys picking strawberries are the two smaller alphas included in the collection. The "captured" sentiment on the picture of the boys repairing Sam's car comes from the Maya Road "Snapshot Words" stamp set.
This is the right side of the spread. All of the cards on the top row are from the card sheet in the collection. I covered the seam between the picture of the flowerpot my son made for me for Mother's Day with some more of the yellow seam binding, then colored some of the Studio Calico Wood Veneer Banners and Stars for accents. On the second row, I used some more of the Studio Calico Veneers to point to the pictures the journaling on the first card applies to. The mother's day card is another one of the 3x4 cards with some Heidi Swapp letters. The "ticket" on the family picture is also from the accent sheet that comes with the collection.
Hope everyone has a wonderful day!
Until next time!
Alicia

Tim Holtz Alterations Alarm Clock
Today I used a picture of my great nephew and my mom. Today is his 1st birthday and he loves his Aunt Momo as much as I love him. His AKA is ”Cookie, Cookie, Cookie because he is always asking me for cookies!!! My mom said he will only know me as the cookie lady. Lol !
For my project I altered a Tim Holtz Alarm Clock. Oh my gosh this, was so much fun to play with. I so want to do more of these !I think this might just be my favorite to date project ! Suzanne does not have these in the store but you can ask her to special order them for you if you would like. Be sure to stop by Flamingo Scraps for all your crafting needs. She has some of the best stuff to get your creative juices flowing!! Hope you like my creation as much as I loved making it!!
First off I took the glass out of the front of the clock then I coated the clock with gesso, then I let that dry. I used multi medium and started putting on the Tim Holtz Tissue paper. Then I added strips of the Lifetime paper words page. Next I used Tattered Angels Mist...I chose light colors so that you could see the paper. I used the Tattered Angels Suede one so that it would give it the old rusted look. I also used Maya Road Vintage Jewel Rhinestone Trim – Iridescent Diamond around the outside of the clock.

I then covered the back of the clock and and then started decorating it. I used Prima Symphony Blend Amoroso Pink The picture of my mom and nephew is in a Studio Calico Wood Veneers — Sampler 1. With this I had to use chipboard to prop it up. By doing this I cut a small strip of chipboard bended it in half and applied glue to hold it up. I also added a Studio Calico Wood Veneer Cameras

Here is a side view using old chain that I had found in the garage. I used gesso on it. Then hung the Prima Vintage Trinkets Birdcage, Maya Road Metal Antique Music Box Keys and Owl on it.

On the other side I used Maya Road Chipboard Shipping Tag Set, Maya Road Bird Cage Wood Pieces and Prima Divine Cotton Lace – 1 Roll for the bow and a tiny pin to pin it to the lace.

For this I used the Prima Tiny Junkyard Findings Vintage Trinkets — Turns & Handles and a Prima Tiny Junkyard Findings Vintage Trinkets — Gears

I also used
Prima Chalk Ink Edgers — Entire Set of 48 Colors!!!-several different browns and blue for the bird inside of the cage.
