Straight from the Runways and into your Scrap Room!

I get tons of catalogs in the mail and the Fall fashion ones are starting to arrive.  No surprise that the Pantone Fall color palette is well represented - it's right on the money!  As predicted, the gorgeous, scrappy goodness arriving at Flamingo Scraps is coming straight off the runway as well.

Check out how the palette has matched up with Maya Road Maya Mist (MM), Tim Holtz Distress Inks (TH Ink), Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist (GM), Glimmer Glam (GGlam) and Glimmer Glaze (GGlaze).
Scrapping and paper crafting supplies coming out of Summer CHA are not only matching the colors but the fashion trends as well.  Vintage, distressed and Steampunkishness are leading the way in what you will be wearing as well as what you are scrapping!

Check out this teal bustier..........

And here is the paper called Victorian Transformers from G45's Steampunk Debutante....

This fabulous new pleated, ruffled ribbon trim is from Maya Road.....

.......and echoes the ruffle found on this jacket.
Flowers are hot on the runway this season - but scrappers have always known that flowers are fantastic - and no one does this better than Prima!  Note the somewhat surprising flower on this purple leather jacket.....
.....and one of my favs from Prima this season - The Guava Peony Etude.  Now this would jazz up any jacket, layout or paper crafting project!
Vintage is found both in scrapping and paper crafts and fashion.  That means lace and more lace!  Compare this beautiful Clementine Chic trim from Prima.......
....with this romantic sweater.
Ever wished you could wear some of your favorite scrappy supplies or scrap with some of your fave clothes and accessories?  Well, this year it seems you can!!!!
