I want to share with you how you can use your sticker sheets and raw chipboard to make well-coordinated embellishments. Just because you don’t have the chipboard pieces that match a paper set doesn’t mean you can’t make some yourself!
From Flamingo Scraps: Maya Road chipboard buttons
Other Supplies: Sassafrass Lass stickers
I used Sassafras Lass stickers and Maya Road raw chipboard buttons to make these embellishments.
The best part about using stickers is no glue to worry about. And you are able to save all of that beautiful paper you have by not cutting tiny little corners off just to cover a 1-inch piece of chipboard.
For some added dimension, I popped the chipboard button up off of the bottom sticker with a Pop Dot.
I made 3 embellishments that I will use later when my Indie Girl papers from Sassafras Lass land on my doorstep this week—via Flamingo Scraps, of course!
I saved them on a sheet of acetate while I wait. You could always adhere them back to the original sticker sheet if you’d prefer.
And there you have it… homemade chipboard to match your paper sets using the sticker sheets.

Very cool idea. I'm always a little scared of raw chipboard embellies - I usually only glimmer mist or ink them; I'll be trying this for sure!
