HAPPY NEW YEAR FROM FLAMINGO SCRAPS!!!

A Very Happy New Year to all our Flamingo Scraps friends!!!  Here in the South, we are celebrating the first day of 2010 with family and cultural traditions including food and football!  We will dine on greens, blackeyed peas, rice, and cornbread for Good Luck -- according to Suzanne's grandmother, greens represent folding money and blackeyed peas represent spending change!!

We will also be glued to the television to watch the Gator Bowl this afternoon and then cheer on our beloved FLORIDA GATORS as they play in the Sugar Bowl tonight.  Here's hoping they ate their greens and peas!!

How ever you celebrate the bringing in of the New Year -- we here at Flamingo Scraps wish you a happy, healthy, prosperous 2010!!
