Anniversary Month Prize Blog #1

Every Wednesday in October, Flamingo Scraps will post a Prize blog.  We will ask a question, you will have until the next Monday, October 11, 2010 at Midnight EDT to answer by posting a comment.  We will randomly draw from the list of commenters and award two to three prizes the following Wednesday.  Among these prizes are such fabulous things as Marion Smith Kits, Tim Holtz' "Compendium of Curiosities" and one Teresa Collins Stamp Machine!!

If you do not yet follow our blog, now would be a good time to do so!  Also, please go tell your friends, re-post this on your blog or share it on Facebook!

To enter the prize giveaway, just answer the following question in the comments section of this post:

  3. I loveeeeeeeee that little painting!! And I would have to say....that "For Julie" by Nikki Sivils in her "Something for Everyone" line!!! She was sooooooooooooo sweet to name a sheet of paper from that line for the girls that have been with her since the beginning of her dream....and "For Julie" is named after me!!!! *sigh* how could I not LOVE a paper that was named after me??? :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

  4. That's a hard question! I am a paper addict so I love all kinds of paper! But if I have to narrow it down to my favoite....My favorite paper line to date would be Tim Holtz's Lost and Found paper stack!

  16. oh my...I am a paper addict, lol. I have lots of K&co and DCWV because I can get those locally, but I also like Bo Bunny and and Sassafras and this n that. Can't decide ...sorry! :( There are too many I love. :)

  17. I love so many of the Basic Grey lines, that I couldn't pick just one. Right now, my fave is the Crate Paper school spirit collection - just what I am in the mood to scrap right now :)

  20. Tough question! I LOVE Basic Grey's Indian Summer, and I find Crate Paper's Lemon Grass to be so incredibly versatile... but Scenic Route's Garden Grove might be my all-time fav.

  27. My favorite paper line is any Marah Johnson paper put out by CI. I love the gothic designs, the textures and colors.

  28. My all time favorite paper company was Daisy D's and Mistletoe Memories was one of my favorite lines however they are gone now. My favorite right now is the seasonal K & Co. Everything they do is so stinkin' cute!

  29. My very favorite was Basic Grey's "Color Me Silly" I bought so many packs and so I still have a little for very special pictures. But I do like anything that looks distressed and made for boy layouts.

  30. Wow...hard question! I love paper! However, if I have to choose, I would say the Oh Sophie Collection from My Mind's Eye. I had to buy the whole line which was quite an investment. However, the paper is thick, textured, and beautiful.

  31. Wow how can I pick just one?!?!? Considering I dreamt about it last night, I'll have to settle on Basic Grey. Pretty much everything they come up with I love! The weight of the paper is fantastic! June Bug was one of my very favs!

    But I would have to say I have two which are, Webster's Paper but I think my favorite,all time favorite is Graphic 45, that is until Marion Smith creates her line....LOL GOOD LUCK LADIES AND CONGRATS FLAMINGO SCRAPS!!!

  33. Happy Birthday ladies. My favorite paper is always the one I am currently working with so I would have to say G45 Steampunk. By the time I am done with 2 or 3 minis I am usually ready for a new favorite.

    Then, anything in one of those 6x6 pads is wonderful. Will a size count as a line? :)

  37. Oh, I am new to using paper! So, the first thing I ever saw that made me go 'oooooooh, I need that!" was Prima's Fairy Flora, fairy flora. I just love those colors!

Since Halloween is right around the corner and I just scrapped all of last years halloween pics with this line, I would have to say Making Memories Spook Alley. I think this is the first line that I purchased everything in the collection.

  43. Hummmm I would have to say there are SOOO many to choose from and I can't make the choice of which is the favorite, but since I've bought Steampunk 2 times and Flights of Fancy 3 I think Prima is going to win with Flights of Fancy. OUCH - YOU MADE ME CHOOSE! Happy Birthday!

  45. I have a fave that's not quite out yet. ;) Cosmo Cricket's new Circa 1934 line is right up my alley. I can't wait for it to hit the stores. It's like they made it just for me. Great color scheme, vintage accents, mmmm ...heaven!
